Continuing to evolve the sound of his rising imprint, in-demand DJ/producer and label boss OMRI. welcomes The Botanist back to Collecting Dots Records for release number nine, this time with a potent two-track package titled "Activator." Fresh off the back of his vibrant debut "Wanna Dance?," The Botanist picks up where he left off, bringing more of the floor-fuelled energy that’s been lighting up club spaces across the States. Since emerging in 2023, the Bay Area-raised, LA-based talent has built a reputation for dynamic sets, standout productions, and an infectious sense of groove, earning co-signs from notable artists such as Fisher, AYYBO, Deeper Purpose, and more.

Title track "Activator" is another sizzling club effort built on driving drums, hooky vocal interjections, and zipping synths, while "Feeling It" keeps things rolling with a playful bounce and trippy textures. Where "Wanna Dance?" paid homage to the joy of the dancefloor, "Activator" taps into the kinetic, physical energy of late nights without overthinking - a quality that continues to define Collecting Dots Records as it shapes its sound.
