Confidential Recipe & Harvey McKay collaborate for the first time on the Bad Man EP.

Venezuela’s Confidential Recipe & Scottish artist Harvey McKay come back to Radio Slave’s techno-leaning RSPX oﬀshoot with their first collaboration, the "Bad Man EP," arriving mid-July 2025. The release, drawing inspiration from the Chicagoan Dance Mania label, opens with the title track, a syncopated techno slammer driven by booming kicks, fizzing hi-hats, and up vocal chops. Fragmented samples and textured stabs inject raw energy, building tension before the drop hits hard.

Working with Harvey on these tracks was a total honor and the connection between our styles felt perfect, we had a lot of fun on the process and we couldn’t be more happy to release this project on the mighty RSPX.

Going second, "Move It" is a relentless deep techno cut with rolling bass, sonar-like synth pulses, and jacked-up percussion, engineered for maximum eﬀect on the dancefloor, already supported by Mark Broom, Tasha & Elisa Bee.

We had started chatting as we both loved each other's music and ended up chatting quite a lot and bouncing music back and forth, and I felt we had a very similar musical intuition, but with a diﬀerent twist from both sides. So it made sense to put our heads together to see what we came up with, super happy with the result and great fun in the process, and we both are super happy it's on RSPX as we feel it's a great home for it.

Scottish producer Harvey McKay, known for his dark, driving techno, joined the RSPX roster in 2024 with his "DV8 EP," adding to a catalogue that includes Phantasy Sound, Bek Audio, and Cocoon, with his productions having won consistent support from notable artists such as Laurent Garnier, DJ Bone, Carista, and Luke Slater.
