Bilbao BBK Live 2026

Bilbao BBK Live is a major three-day annual rock, pop, and electronic music festival held in Bilbao, Spain. Since its inception, the festival has taken place in the stunning natural setting of Mount Kobetas (Kobetamendi), offering breathtaking views just minutes from the vibrant city center of Bilbao. The event has grown to be a national and international benchmark, annually blending global headliners with emerging talent.

The first edition of the festival took place in 2006, attracting over 50,000 attendees, a superb initial success. From 2007 onwards, the event was sponsored by the savings bank Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa (BBK), leading to the name change. Over its history, the festival has hosted legendary acts such as Guns N' Roses, Coldplay, The Killers, and Pulp. Since its beginnings, the festival has surpassed one million cumulative visitors.

Bilbao BBK Live has continued to grow, attracting over 115,000 attendees across its three days in the most recent editions. Its unique venue and diverse, high-quality lineup have cemented its status as one of Europe's leading music events. The festival features several stages, including the electronic music temple, Basoa, and the intimate Lasai stage, catering to various styles and ensuring every music lover finds their moment.

The 2026 edition is particularly notable as the festival will celebrate its 20th Anniversary. On the occasion of this milestone, the Spanish Government officially declared Bilbao BBK Live an "Event of Exceptional Public Interest (EEPI)," a distinction reserved for cultural initiatives of special significance and international reach. This recognition highlights the festival's strong connection to Basque culture, its commitment to sustainability (including the Basoa Bizi re-forestation project), and its role in promoting Bilbao as a global creative city. The festival's camping area is located near the main site and has even won awards for its quality.
