Break It Down EP by Emery Bex

Emery Bex returns to Flâneur Music with the three-track EP Break It Down.

Label oﬀshoot of the FLÂNEUR fashion label, Flâneur Music, returns with a release from emerging House producer Emery Bex, with the "Break It Down EP" dropping April 10th. Bex debuted on Flâneur Music with "Transition" in January 2026, featuring on the "Thinking Out Loud" V/A and following multiple releases on Jamie Jones' Hottrax and Franky Rizardo's LTF label.

The opener and title track "Break It Down" is a breakbeat-fuelled four-four number that scatters vocal samples and nifty 303 licks across its bumping groove to swinging eﬀect. Next up, "Talking Bout" treads a deeper path, with a stripped-back rhythm track providing a bedrock for a light, sometimes sinister set of synths to float throughout. Closing, "Midnight Shhh" is a swung, soulful vocal infused jacker for late night floors.
