CD-10 EP by KOKO

KOKO becomes the first artist to join Dennis Cruz's BotaniQ imprint with his CD-10 EP.

Following two standout releases from label founder Dennis Cruz to launch the project, BotaniQ welcomes its first guest artist, Italian DJ and producer KOKO, who steps up with his "CD-10 EP," set for release in November. A rising figure within the global house circuit and a name closely linked to London's revered Solid Grooves and FUSE camps, KOKO now brings his signature blend of groove, emotion, and precision to the label's growing catalogue.

The "CD-10 EP" opens with "Rain Moon at CD-10," a rolling, hazy trip that layers warm textures and skippy percussion to create an enticing opener. “I made this track the day after my debut in the Main Room at DC-10 in 2024, inspired by the wonderful vibes of the venue and the people”, adds KOKO. "The Gift (Of Life)" follows with crisp drums and playful synth work, offering a deep, soulful groove with a timeless feel. Closing the release, "La Speranza Muore" leans into KOKO's emotive side - a cinematic, subtly melancholic cut that balances tension and beauty in equal measure.

With a reputation for sophisticated house music, KOKO's work has earned support from leading figures such as ANOTR, Chris Stussy, and Joseph Capriati, solidifying his status as one of Italy's most exciting rising exports.
