Bustin' Loose returns with a bold new release: Château d’Amour, a vibrant, genre-bending EP that channels the glamour of 70s nightlife, the soul of disco, and the bite of modern electronic music.

A conceptual journey through funk-laced grooves, nu disco anthems, and leftfield club burners, this four-track project showcases the kaleidoscopic sound of one of dance music's most dynamic talents.

With roots ingrained in disco, funk and soul, Tom Lilly aka Bustin' Loose is the founder of London's revered label and international event series, The Disco Express. Now based between London and New York City, the DJ/producer/designer has carved out a sound and aesthetic all his own, championed by the likes of Dimitri From Paris, Dave Lee, Late Nite Tuff Guy and more.

Leading the EP is “We Are One”, a euphoric call for unity on the dancefloor. Powered by soaring trumpets, an infectious vocal hook, and a driving rhythm section, it's Nu Disco gold destined for peak-time dance moments. Title track “Château d'Amour” follows - a rolling nu disco jam dripping in class, where choppy guitars and a deep, sensual bassline pay tribute to the indulgent, hedonistic spirit of 70s club culture. “Château d'Amour, the place to be / Château d'Amour, just you and me” echoes through a mist of love, sweat, and late-night euphoria.

Next up, “20 Buck Funk” is a cheeky, ultra-funky nod to Chuck Brown and James Brown. Featuring a standout rap from Relaye (who previously appeared on Hot by La Felix), the track bounces with playful energy, digging into the frustration of being owed money in the funkiest way possible. Rounding off the EP is “Lower South Shuffle”, a left turn into downtempo territory. Inspired by the likes of Alt-J and Gorillaz, this indie-electronic groover showcases Bustin' Loose's range as a producer, blending dreamy atmospheres with low-slung rhythms.

With prior releases on Toy Tonics, Whiskey Disco, Ubiquity, and his own The Disco Express imprint, Bustin' Loose continues to push boundaries with a signature sound rooted in authenticity, groov,e and pure dancefloor joy. "Château d'Amour" is a love letter to the past, a statement in the present, and a sign of exciting things to come.
