Brazil's Victor Arruda returns to Rod Brito's Red Room this August with single "Cortéx," following his recent appearance on the label remixing a track by Brito, who now returns the favor with a rework of his own. Arruda's original blends steamy Latin flavors with a driving tech house groove built for the floor.

Subtle percussive flourishes and soulful vocal mantras bring warmth and color, while a knotted bassline pushes steadily to the fore. On the remix, Rod Brito adds deeper textures and slinky tech house energy before loved-up piano chords lift the track into euphoric territory.
