Haas is at the heart of the latest wave of house artists to emerge from Brazil. His tunes blend Latin American influences with fresh grooves and have been supported by tastemakers like Kryder, Mau P, and Mochakk on Armada, as well as on Vintage Culture's SóTrackBoa, among many others. For this one, he links up with fellow contemporary force Ricordi, as he has done before on labels like Cactunes Records.

"Desce Desce" (Go Down, Go Down in Brazilian Portuguese) is a big, bold rhythm with vamping chords that add colour to the chunky drums. Controlled, stylish, emotive Portuguese vocals bring a streetwise edge, and the dubby bassline keeps rolling to lock dancers in.
