Dis & Dat EP by Lyric Hood

Lyric Hood made her first DJ appearance at her own sweet sixteen party, attentively guided by her father. She went on to perform Christian techno with a gospel choir and became utterly obsessed with the idea of making music. That's when Robert Hood suggested she join Floorplan. Lyric's open-mindedness and impeccable musical instinct perfectly complemented Robert's extensive knowledge and decades of experience.

This has resulted in a series of successful releases, with the albums "Victorious" on M-Plant, "Supernatural" on Aus Music, and "The Master's Plan" on Classic. As a stand-alone artist, Lyric has been releasing various tracks and EPs on M-Plant since her solo debut in 2019.

On this, her tenth solo release, Lyric opens with "Flip Dat" featuring vocal accents and tough dance floor beats to get the party started - presented here in its extended version or radio edit. The swirling main-room "She Got Dis" follows, displaying her prowess for tight production and attention to detail, before the stomping House groover "Shake Dat".

London-based DJ and producer Hilit Kolet is at the bleeding edge of 2025's fiercest beats. A classically trained musician and long-time face of Soho's legendary Black Market Records, she's known for high-octane DJ sets and razor-sharp productions - on the likes of Defected, Rekids and Bush - her intense percussive blend of house and techno evokes chaos on any dancefloor. Here, she brings those talents in full force for her remix of "She Got Dis".
