Ecstasy EP by Marsolo

One of the Netherlands’ most electrifying talents, Marsolo, proudly presents his "Ecstasy EP" as he debuts on Haven Trax, the in-house label of Amsterdam’s iconic Thuishaven. Arriving on August 15th, his four-track "Ecstasy EP" marks another significant milestone in his journey, a full-circle moment as he returns to the place he first discovered the sound that defines his music today.

The EP also arrives before his marathon 5-hour set at Thuishaven on 7th September, where he’s set to become the youngest artist ever to take on the honour, and represents Marsolo’s offering back to the label as he expertly captures the institution’s ethos of being more than a label, club, or warehouse but rather a unique experience.

The title track "Ecstasy" kicks things off, as hooky vocals and deep, brooding minimal groove are met with warm, hazy synths. "Response" follows, a track that, at its core, fosters a dynamic relationship between the DJ and audience, evoking a shared experience of dancefloor euphoria. Next up, "It’s Just A Dream" combines lucid, sensual vocals with a wigged-out synth line, infused with feather-light breaks, soft piano chords, and pensive pads; oozing pulses of the golden hour. Wrapping up the EP, "Pink Horizon" is an ethereal cut that draws listeners into an atmospheric prelude with its undeniable charm and lush, velvet-like arpeggios, delivering a flawless sendoff for any evening. 

Utrecht’s Marsolo has quickly emerged as a rising force on the European circuit, following standout releases like his Beatport-topping "Step By Step" to open the year. Away from production, Marsolo is no stranger to the international stage and has performed at world-renowned venues like Fabric, Paradiso, After Caposile, and Cova Santa. Now, the Dutchman arrives on Haven Trax with four richly textured cuts that highlight his most personal and defining work to date.
