Techno's founders envisioned a future remade by artificial intelligence and automation, but this future is our world today. Reigniting the hyperstitional project of electronic music, Boys Noize presents ONES and ZEROS, an expansive concept label embracing new modes of subcultural circulation and seeding the techno pluriverse of tomorrow.
As well as releasing music and objects, OAZ acts as a subcultural server that aggregates and amplifies peers with shared taste and affinities, embracing a multitude of styles from diverse local scenes against the trend of aesthetic universalization and refinement. Unorthodox, positive-sum, and always overclocked, ONES and ZEROS exist as a network connecting software and hardware, the physical and the digital, the local and the global, the now and the next, to free techno from predestination and break open the space of possibility.
To say that ONES and ZEROS are provocative would merely be stating a fact, but it's more deliberate than you think.
