Find Me (Underneath the Sun) by Modha feat. okcandice

Dhanya Langer and Max Scholl share a common vision. Tired of the soulless perfection that defines so much of modern music, the pair have deliberately chosen a more raw, authentic, and emotionally honest approach to production - one that captures the energy of their studio sessions, embraces imperfections, plays with unusual time signatures, and unfolds at their own pace. In a world shaped by industry pressure and social media expectations, Modha's music offers a quiet refusal - instead centering themes of mental health, vulnerability, and the struggle to make a living through art without losing oneself.

Although they hail from different corners of Germany, the two eventually met in Berlin, where they began collaborating as Modha. Max's orchestral sensibilities and Dhanya's focus on production and arrangement proved to be the perfect match. Their first project together, the Getting By EP (Pinewax, 2020), featured rising talents like Juju Rogers and James Chatburn - establishing a collaborative spirit that continues to define their work.

Following their acclaimed 2023 debut album Through The Cycle, Modha return with their second full-length "At Your Pace" (out March 2026 via Sonar Kollektiv), and "Find Me (Underneath the Sun)" is the second single from the album. Like its predecessor "River" (feat. Àbáse & Fanni Zahár), the track reflects the duo's commitment to emotionally resonant, sonically unpolished, and deeply human music.

"Find Me (Underneath the Sun)" began as a demo recorded in London and became one of the earliest foundations for the new album. It features the haunting, poetic voice of Birmingham-Berlin-based artist okcandice - whose layered lyricism and atmospheric presence sit beautifully atop plaintive piano, shimmering synths, and unhurried beats. Avoiding the pressures of the mainstream label system, Modha have found their creative home at Sonar Kollektiv. "At Your Pace" - recorded in various studios between Berlin and Limburg - is a record shaped by time: both in how long it took to make, and in what it invites us to reflect on. It deals candidly with childhood memories, emotional fragility, and the very human need to slow down in a fast-paced world.

The album features a trusted circle of collaborators, including Wakai, Conic Rose, James Chatburn, okcandice, and the exceptional Allysha Joy, weaving together voices from Berlin's vibrant soul and jazz underground with a strong spirit of international exchange.
