Freedom by Flo Naegeli

Originally hailing from the Bavarian forests of southeastern Germany, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Flo Naegeli began his musical journey at the tender age of seven as a folk accordionist. By 14, inspired by Prince and Jimi Hendrix, he had switched to guitar, dedicating himself to a strict, self-imposed routine of study and practice that led to a degree in music and a professional career.

After years of playing in bands, Flo shifted focus to solo work, embracing production tools like Logic and carving out a creative space where he could explore his ideas in full. That process meant facing periods of isolation and self-doubt, but ultimately brought him to a place of empowerment and artistic clarity.

“Freedom”, the fourth single from his forthcoming "Lush Life EP," is a deeply personal tribute to his mother's strength and resilience. The song honours her role in guiding the family through challenging times, balancing tenderness with a quiet, determined power.

Flo performs bass, synthesizers, piano, percussion, and electric guitar himself, joined by Stephan Salewski on drums. Together, they craft an uplifting, soulful arrangement that wraps around Flo's warm and assured vocals - creating a track that is both conscious in its message and generous in spirit. “Freedom” stands as both a celebration of courage and a reminder of the quiet power in leaning on one another when life demands it most.
