Dale Howard makes his Hot Creations debut with the new two-tracker, Funk Rider.

After more than fifteen years crafting records for dancefloors around the globe, UK producer Dale Howard kicks off 2026 in style with a long-awaited debut on Hot Creations with his latest two-track release, "Funk Rider." Following a career punctuated by BBC Radio 1 features, releases on key labels, and over 40 million streams, his Hot Creations debut EP blends contemporary energy with the sounds that helped define his early career.

It has always been a goal of mine to sign to Hot Creations, as it was a seminal label that helped define the deep house era that I was a part of when my career first started, and they've been at the forefront of the scene ever since. So to be releasing my first EP with them well over a decade later really means a lot to me, and these tracks not only represent my sound today, but also give a bit of a nod to my original sound from that era, so it feels like a bit of a full circle moment too.

The EP opens with the title track "Funk Rider," a skippy groove-driven cut designed to ignite peak-time moments with infectious percussion and driving low-end. On the flip, "Get Bass" doubles down on the weight and pressure, fusing chunky basslines with a pulsing energy that lands perfectly on the dancefloor.

Following a surge of recent support from the likes of Chris Stussy, Patrick Topping, Prunk, Mau P, Fisher, and Hot Since 82, Dale Howard's music has been enjoying renewed attention across the global house scene, reinforcing his position as one of the genre's most consistent forces. "Funk Rider" marks not just his first Hot Creations release, but a bold statement of his enduring influence and a fresh taste of his ever-evolving sound.
