Building on the success of her 2024 Cuttin' Headz debut "Follow Me," her best-selling release to date, Florence-born artist Silvie Loto steps up once more on the label with her "Get Up EP." It's another showcase of her refined, rhythm-driven sound, which nods to old-school house while firmly locking into the present, landing amidst a strong run that includes recent releases on Cecille and Solid Grooves, the latter as part of the UK label's milestone 100th release.

Drawing from years of experience behind the decks at iconic venues like Amnesia, DC-10, and Printworks, Loto continues to craft music rooted in dancefloor momentum. Opener "Get Up" keeps things lean and charged, led by tight drums, skippy percussion, wobbling low-ends, and subtle disco-leaning samples that merge with vibrant vocal interjections to provide peak-time punch. On the flip, "Checking In" brings a snaking and hypnotic flow, layering smoky textures and shuffling grooves into a subtly trippy roller made to capture attention.
