Just Be Aware EP by Javi Galan

Spain’s Javi Galan joins Nicole Moudaber’s MoodCollective with the "Just Be Aware EP," landing in late September 2025. The release opens up with fiery Tech House energy on the title track, "Just Be Aware," boasting raw percussion, a driving, busy bassline, and beefed-up vocals full of attitude. "Hot Dog" then cooks up just as much of a storm with crispy drum textures, sweeping filters, and loopy bass all working towards a crescendo. Atmospheric vocals bubble deep in the mix, and when the drop comes, piano stabs add some old school fun while a classic vocal sample provides extra flair.

It's an honor to release this EP on Mood Collective. The inspiration comes from the textures of the music, the energy of the club, and intimate moments in the studio; each track is an exploration of rhythm and. tension. For me, it represents an important step in my sound and an invitation to lose yourself on the dancefloor.

Javi Galan is a Córdoba-born, Málaga-based talent with over a decade of releases on labels like Techaway and Woodland Records, and is associated with events such as Brunch Elektronik in Málaga. His music has earned support from leading names, including Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Cloonee, and Moudaber, leading to this excellent two-tracker on her MoodCollective label.

MoodCollective is the first sub-label in Nicole Moudaber’s InTheMood empire’s 10-year history, complementing her long-running radio show and flagship MOOD imprint. The label has so far hosted the likes of Castion, VLTRA, RSquared, and Cyava, earning heavy support from notable names such as Michael Bibi, Groove Armada, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati, and Adam Beyer.
