Kevin Knapp presents West Coast
Kevin Knapp returns to Plump Records with new single, West Coast.
Bold, playful, and unafraid to carry a message, Kevin Knapp has always thrived at the intersection of club energy and cultural commentary. On the aptly-titled "West Coast," he channels the raw spirit of his Bay Area roots into a rolling, floor-shaking anthem.
Heavy low-end pressure drives the track, while his unmistakable vocal touch and vivid synth textures inject colour and charisma, a signature balance of grit and groove that has long set him apart.
For more than a decade, Knapp has been a driving force within house music, releasing standout solo records and iconic collaborations across labels including Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, Cuttin Headz, and Repopulate Mars. His recent highlights include a massive link-up with Detroit icon DJ Minx on Factory 93 for their slick collaboration "House Katz," while his DJ sets, from Paradise Ibiza to fabric London, embody the same ethos: high-impact, body-positive house music that moves both the feet and the soul.
This latest drop finds him back on home turf with a return to Plump Records, further underlining the label's dedication to authentic, floor-focused house music that celebrates community, diversity, and originality.
