LOCUS presents LOCUS Trax Vol. 7
FUSE’s sister imprint LOCUS returns at the end of March with a new LOCUS Trax VA release, highlighting emerging and established voices.
For instalment seven, label headhoncho Enzo Siragusa welcomes four fresh faces in the form of Spain’s Alvaro Medina (Djebali/Moan) alongside London-based talents James Dexter (Inermu Records), Jude Lenihan (Modern Funktion/Hardline), and Summer Ghemati (neXup/MOXY MUZIK), with all delivering distinctive club-ready cuts that continue the label’s mission of showcasing exciting names from across the globe.
Kicking things off, Alvaro Medina’s "This Sound" bursts with a bouncy, elastic groove, zippy energy, and infectious momentum that immediately draws listeners in. James Dexter’s "Go" follows, delivering a deep, cosmic cut loaded with driving low-end weight for maximum impact. Next, Jude Lenihan’s all-action "Paris" keeps the energy high with bumping grooves and sweeping lead synths that command the floor, before Summer Ghemati closes the release with "Hustle," a slinking, shadowy track featuring crisp percussion and hazy female vocals, perfect for late-night sets.
