Lovin' U EP by Fort Romeau
The British producer Fort Romeau debuts on Rekids with the three-track Lovin' U EP.
London-based DJ and producer Fort Romeau arrives on Rekids with the "Lovin' U EP," releasing in September 2026. Opening the release, the title track beams sunshine through 8-bit melodies and a repeating, hypnotic vocal shot through with tasteful echoes, all underpinned by a tight drum groove.
"No Limit" dives deeper into that endless depth, its vocal sample floating over the groove as delectable piano keys bring the party. Closing things out, the Trip Mix of "Breathe" eases the pace, snappy rhythms laying the foundation while dubby chords spring through a track built for daydreaming.
Rekids is one of the labels that has always been in my record bag over the years, and so I'm really happy to be releasing with them! With "Lovin U'", I wanted to make something that has a deep atmosphere and emotional warmth but still knocks enough in the low end for a peak time session! No Limit channels some classic house energy with the M1 pianos and Organ bass, while ‘Breathe' is a super dubbed-out slow jam trip for the warm-ups.
