Manthey Kit for Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2)
Few other production cars are used as frequently on track days as the Porsche 911 GT3, and with the new Manthey Racing kit, it could be used even more.
Porsche offers a Manthey kit for the current 911 GT3 (992.2) for even better performance on the racetrack. The kit provides significantly more downforce and, as a result, increased cornering speeds. The suspension has been specially adapted for track use, and the brakes are designed for the particularly high demands of track days. The new Manthey Kit was developed in close collaboration between the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and the Manthey engineers in Meuspath. The components, which are optimised for circuit use, are sold through Porsche Centres worldwide.

Up to 540 kg of downforce at 285 km/h
The aerodynamics of the 911 GT3, which are already designed for high downforce as standard, have been further optimised for track use. The entire underbody has been transformed into a continuous aerodynamic element. The air deflector elements on the underbody (also known as turning vanes) have been extended by one metre, to 1.5 m. This enables them to generate additional downforce in a particularly efficient manner. In addition, the luggage compartment floor of the production vehicle now has a cover, creating a completely smooth underbody.

The front lip has been redesigned and extended forward by 12 millimetres. Special front diffusor fins in the front underbody and flaps attached to the sides of the vehicle increase downforce at the front axle. The wing of the 911 GT3 with swan-neck mounts is wider and now features a Gurney flap. The end plates have been enlarged and are visibly curved inwards to achieve optimal airflow. The rear diffuser, featuring longer fins, increases downforce without increasing drag.
The carbon-fibre wheel covers (aerodiscs) at the rear reduce drag, completing the interaction of all the car’s aerodynamic components to optimise airflow and maximise overall efficiency. Overall, downforce is greatly increased while drag remains the same. At 285 km/h, the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit in road mode produces 355 kg of total downforce. In circuit mode, which must not be used on public roads, the downforce increases to 540 kg at 285 km/h.

Adjustable coilover suspension
Together with Manthey, Porsche has developed a special four-way coilover suspension for the 911 GT3 that can be adapted for circuit use. The suspension struts are four-way adjustable, and the rebound and compression can be adjusted without tools. The moderately adjusted spring rates (plus 10 percent on the front axle compared to the predecessor model with the Manthey Kit) contribute to improved handling at the limit and are adapted to the significantly higher downforce values. The optimised circuit suspension increases mechanical grip and makes the car even more stable, especially when driving over kerbs.

Lightweight 20- and 21-inch forged wheels are available as an option for the Porsche 911 GT3. These reduce the unsprung mass by a total of six kg compared to the standard wheels. They are available in Brilliant Silver, Neodyme, and Black (silk gloss). Braided steel brake lines are included as standard in the kit. This guarantees very precise pressure and optimum brake control. As an option, special racing brake pads for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system are available for the Porsche GT3 with Manthey Kit.

An extensive range of accessories for even more individuality
Those wishing to add further visual accents can individualise their 911 GT3 with particularly sporty accessories. Carbon door sill trims with illuminated Manthey lettering, LED door projectors with white Manthey lettering, and the option of applying the Manthey lettering to the doors underline the sharpened character of the 911 GT3. In addition, the carbon aerodiscs are available in various colours. Tow straps are available for front and rear use on the circuit. These are optionally available in red, black, or yellow and can be attached to the designated threaded holes at the front and rear. They must be removed before driving on public roads. In addition, the 911 GT3 can be enhanced with carbon-fibre front air outlets and rear air intakes.

Almost three seconds faster on the Nürburgring
On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, traditionally Porsche's test laboratory for sports cars, the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit can play to its full strengths. With reigning DTM champion Ayhancan Güven at the wheel, and in less than ideal conditions, the modified GT sports car lapped the 20.8-kilometre circuit in the Eifel region in 6:52.981 minutes - 2.76 seconds faster than the previous generation (992.1) of the 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit. Both cars were equipped with the optionally available Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres. The lap time was certified by a notary present on site.
The Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 is expected to be available from March 2026 at Porsche Centres. The factory warranty for the 911 GT3 remains fully intact.
