Pills N Thrills EP by Iglesias
Iglesias makes his sophomore outing on the Sound D'Elite imprint with the Pills N Thrills EP, featuring a stellar YOUniverse remix.
UK mainstay Iglesias returns to Ilario Alicante's Sound D'Elite with his "Pills N Thrills EP," arriving in November. Continuing to deliver razor-sharp productions, celebrated for their crisp percussion and hypnotic rhythmic flair, Iglesias' music has appeared on labels such as Solid Grooves, Hottrax, COCO, Mindshake, and more, ranking him among Beatport's top 50 best-selling Tech-House artists. Having first appeared on the label in November with his pumping rework of Fer BR's "Never Sax Enough," his second outing sees him join forces with Roco Calhon across two slick originals, with Italian DJ/producer duo YOUniverse joining on remix duties.
Opening the EP, title track "Pills N Thrills," Iglesias delivers a crisp, percussive roller driven by low-slung energy, tightly woven drums, and a peak-time groove built for the floor. Continuing the intensity, "Pluck Off" unfolds as a textured club weapon - a true tension-building roller layered with eerie FX and echoing soft vocal hooks. Closing the release with YOUniverse's remix of "Pluck Off," a razor-sharp, electro-infused house rework that fuses spacey synths and punchy kicks with vintage vocoder touches. Iglesias continues to evolve his signature rhythm-driven style, and this "Pills n Thrills EP" is set to be another standout in his impressive catalogue.
