The Romanian favorite Kidoo showcases rolling finesse with his two-track Poem EP on Sound D'Elite.

Romania’s Kidoo arrives on Sound D’Elite in the heart of summer with his double A-side, "Poem." With releases on Solid Grooves, Cuttin’ Headz, COCO, BotaniQ, and Mindshake, the Cluj-based talent has rapidly entrenched himself within the top tier of the global scene, dropping chart-topping releases and touring international venues and festivals such as DC10, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia, Sunwaves, and Caprices.

His groove-driven sound sits between house and more minimal foundations, and, fresh from his recent US tour, he once more demonstrates his undeniable ability to deliver a sound that balances high-impact energy with a deep, rolling groove on this debut outing on Ilario Alicante’s imprint.

Up first, "Poem" blends percussive, dubbed-out textures with a bassline that feels like it could roll on, fusing 90s hip-hop nostalgia with soft whispers and woozy digital hums. On the flip, "In Transit" features slick vocals and warping sonics, while snappy snares push the track forward, perfect for plays in the middle of a peak-time adventure.
