MAW Records classic Shout-N-Out by LOOD feat. Donell Rush returns with a powerhouse package of brand new remixes.

Ever since it was produced by Louie Vega & Mood II Swing over 25 years ago, "Shout-N-Out" feat. Donell Rush has been a stone-cold house classic and standout jewel in the artists' discographies. The evergreen groove is dark and heavy for heads down dancing, but the Donell Rush vocal reaches deep into the soul. Add in the iconic synth, and it's not hard to see why this is such an underground anthem. Opening up this essential package is a well-swung and menacing rework from Masters At Work that sets a high standard from the start and is followed by stripped-back Instrumental and Beats versions.

Italian new school trailblazer Blackchild is next bringing some playful and funky bass while bubbly synths bring extra colour and a hint of cosmic energy. Respected French veteran Rocco Rodamaal is one of the scene's most authentic voices; his remix transforms the original into a low-slung and dubby cut, featuring a fizzing lead synth and a plunging bassline.

Dutchman Dennis Quin has always joined the musical dots between Chicago, Detroit, and Europe. Here, he leaves the punchy kicks in place and tops them with smooth, jazzy chords, giving the undertone of a UK Garage sound whilst letting the vocal play out in all its sensuous glory. His remix also comes with a pared-back but equally essential instrumental. Last but not least, Manhattan man DJ Erv draws on 30 years in the scene to rework N&L's remix, and the result is a pressurised minimal house cut with vamping chords buried deep but bringing the heat.
