Soul Quest's sixth release reintroduces Slxm Sol's soothing, deep-house lushness to the label for the second time.

The East Londoner, who came from early grime and pirate radio beginnings, has since transitioned into house music. He initially graced the label with "The Othering" in April, a classy house track complemented by the thought-provoking lyrics of Steph Kleanthous.

Now, Slxm Sol flexes his house muscles once more with a three-track EP, SQR006. The label's co-founder delivers sweet, seductive grooves that hum beneath poignant vocals, crafting danceable moments with a serious edge.

First up, "Wish You Could" establishes the EP with a flourish, featuring up-and-coming vocalist Elsa, who immerses herself in a joyous vibe of harmonies and melodies. Radiating happiness, this track combines a house groove with musically rich elements and jazzy percussion, creating a vibrant backdrop for Elsa's exquisite vocal performance.

The second offering sustains the elegant party vibes with "Molecular," which is a rolling house number adorned with warm, soulful keys, while Slxm Sol creates an immersive atmosphere with loose, dusty drums and a recording of an intimate room of party-goers.

"Galaxy" concludes the EP's mood, offering a reality-bending, hypnotic dance floor tool with haunting vocals inviting you to "let go of everything you think to be true" and ponder, "Do I truly understand what this reality is?"
