UK stalwart Lev brings signature emotional depth to Sasha's agenda-setting Last Night On Earth.

Lev has been an important part of the house world for many years, both as a solo artist and working as one half of the My Friend Duo. He is a producer and mix engineer with a hi-fidelity sound that has come on labels such as Enhanced Progressive, Night Mayors, and several others, and early this year dropped "You'll Be Okay" with Lake Taro. He now kicks oﬀ the New Year in top form with another standout package.

The opener "Sugar Beach" is lithe and luminous with big, bouncy drums and a silky-smooth groove that soon gets dancers moving. Sensuous vocals and wispy neon melodies bring a future feel as this most catchy cut rides waves of rising euphoria. Lake Taro has a masterful melodic touch that is on full display on "Shine." The chords shimmer high in a night sky above grittier drums and hits. Indie vocals linger to bring an emotional pull, and a sugary lead keeps things moving upward. It's a fresh take on prog with a physical and cerebral pull.
