Take Our Time EP by Chico Rose

The Dutch talent Chico Rose serves up two rolling house cuts on Sound D'Elite.

Just in time for summer, Ilario Alicante's Sound D'Elite continues its commitment to percussive, groove-led house music, welcoming Story Starters label boss Chico Rose (NL) for his debut appearance on the imprint with "Take Our Time." Having spent more than a decade honing his craft in the studio, Chico's catalog includes respected labels such as MOXY MUZIK, Hottrax, Nervous Records, and, most notably, his track "Pom" on Deeperfect, which stormed the Beatport charts.

Adding a new label to the list to close out June, his two-track appearance on Sound D'Elite demonstrates his refined eye for energy and instinct, further cementing his growing reputation among the new wave of Dutch house producers.

The title track "Take Our Time" sets the tone with a sultry pulse where evocative vocals build tension in a captivating call-and-response that draws listeners deeper into its hypnotic flow. On the flip, "Back It Up" channels a more driving energy, weaving classy, swirling synths through crisp hi-hats and tightly wound percussion.
