Hellbent Records welcomes Rebuke to the label with "Tears From Heaven," as the Irish producer reunites with English singer/songwriter Hannah Boleyn for his first release on Cloonee's imprint. Known for moving between club-focused production, melodic ideas and more experimental territory, the ERA head honcho has built a catalog that rarely stays in one place for long, making his Hellbent debut another interesting turn in that evolution.

"Tears From Heaven" puts Boleyn's vocal against a restless wash of synths, skippy drums and UK-leaning rhythm, giving the record a tension that sits somewhere between melodic and club-focused. For those looking at something for the later hours, the No Signal Mix heads further into that electronic space, leaving the vocal behind and letting the synth work and rhythmic details take over.

Having built a catalog spanning Afterlife, Drumcode, NovaMute, Hot Creations and beyond, with tracks such as "Along Came Polly" and his collaboration with Anyma, "Syren," becoming key points in his rise, Rebuke's versatility in the studio is clear. With a Beatport #1 and Essential New Tune accolades to his name, alongside remix credits for Underworld, Tiga & Kölsch, Chris Lake, Kevin Saunderson, Green Velvet and Max Cooper, the phrase “expect the unexpected” feels particularly fitting.
