Terrace Collapse EP by Classmatic & Crewcutz
Classmatic & Crewcutz join Factory 93 with the driving new EP, Terrace Collapse.
Marking their first collaboration together, Classmatic and Crewcutz's "Terrace Collapse EP" channels their shared vision into a pair of crisp and rhythmically charged productions. The release arrives as the latest entry in Factory 93's catalogue of forward-thinking club music, with this two-tracker spotlighting the sound of Brazil's new wave, a scene and movement currently making its presence felt across global dancefloors.
The opening track "Terrace Collapse" is a kinetic peak-time cut, driven by rolling percussion and pulsating low ends with slick grooves and dynamic shifts that capture the energy of a dancefloor in motion. On the flip, "Sinestesia" keeps things moving with hypnotic vocal fragments and a deep, enveloping groove that harnesses jazzy touches and a wormholing groove.
Having broken through with his 2022 anthem "Toma Dale," Classmatic has become a name synonymous with tightly-produced, percussion-infused tech house, establishing his reputation as one of Brazil's most dynamic exports. Crewcutz - the duo of Pedro and Felipe - have also carved out their own path, blending infectious grooves to craft a sound both immersive and dancefloor-ready, with support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, and Marco Carola. Together, the two-track EP reflects the artists' complementary styles and shared passion for rhythm and texture - a statement debut from three individuals whose influence continues to grow.
