The Wave EP by Napsoul
South African producer & DJ Napsoul lands on Dealt With Records with a deeply personal and immersive new EP.
The Wave, a rich blend of emotional depth and sonic exploration that sees him tap into the synth-led deep house sounds currently sweeping South Africa. Having already made waves with Traxsource playlist placements and support from Deep Clicks, Sound Vessel, and more, The Wave is Napsoul’s boldest statement yet.
The opening track "Ride On" is a hypnotic, emotive deep house with laid-back grooves and layered textures. Where "Know Me" is a sparse, introspective and percussive, with flickers of South African log drum basslines, and the final track, "Never Forget" is a deeply moving, emotional, fusing amapiano elements with classic deep house sensibility. A future classic.
This is a record about growth, experimentation, and identity, grounded in deep house but alive with fresh energy. From introspective soundscapes to groove-laced club tools, Napsoul’s latest is unadulterated magic.
