Thinking About You by lovetempo

lovetempo, a project from Brooklyn-based musician Mattie Safer, is going down the self-release route with the single Thinking About You.

A languid, Latin-tinged mid-tempo soul groover, "Thinking About You" is the latest single to be taken from lovetempo's forthcoming self-released debut album "There Is A Light," out April 17th, 2026.

Built around the tension of a bouncy, descending bass line moving against a simple, static vocal melody, this lush, jazzy electronic dance track swells with layers of operatic vocal and synth melodies, a single-note piano refrain, and rhythmic Latin percussion. Echoes of vintage soul meet contemporary production, as the arrangement builds into something orchestral, hypnotic, and heartbreakingly romantic.
