Voices EP by N.O.Y
N.O.Y delivers lively two-track Voices EP on OMRI.'s Collecting Dots Records.
OMRI. (pronounced OMRI dot) continues to expand the sonic horizons of Collecting Dots Records with its eighth release, welcoming creative DJ/producer N.O.Y for his label debut. Titled "Voices," the two-track EP showcases a rich palette of groove, texture, and feeling, true to the eclectic spirit of his growing and expansive sound.
A standout on labels such as Disco Halal, Hard Fist, and Frau Blau, N.O.Y is known for delivering engaging sets that traverse house, disco, and the more psychedelic edges of the dancefloor. That genre-fluid mindset is fully on display here across his "Voices EP." The title track pairs hypnotic rhythms with funky motifs, locking into a rolling pulse while subtle vocal loops build a sense of rising tension. On the flip, "Scratch" combines hazy textures with dramatic builds and interjects scratch samples for a record that keeps you guessing at every turn.
Both tracks capture the spirit of Collecting Dots Records: forward-thinking club music with a human touch, carefully selected by OMRI. to reflect a shared commitment to feeling over formula. With his "Voices EP," N.O.Y delivers a powerful statement that keeps both his and the label's stock moving with significant motion.
