Arriving into the heart of summer in the midst of one of her busiest periods to date, Frequency Made Music founder DESNA and her exploration of sound healing frequencies within techno continue to showcase a new side and subgenre gaining rapid attention on a global scale from both music lovers and media alike. Having recently spoken to Forbes to uncover her forward-thinking concepts following on from another successful installment on the label with the release of her "YAHWEH EP" for the label's 10th drop, and coinciding with her EXIT Festival debut, her latest studio exploration sees her revisit the 40 Hz frequency as she unveils her latest single, "About Techno 40 Hz."

40 Hz is known for potentially inducing gamma brainwave activity associated with cognition, memory, and focus. It's currently being researched to reverse Alzheimer's disease. I love working with frequencies that have some sort of real data about how they could benefit us

Warping and deep, "About Techno 40 Hz" is a driving production that still brings subtle elements within its depths and layers. Trippy vocal interjections, vivid synth melodies, and striking bass patterns propel the track forward with abundant energy and deliver a production made for big moments.

On remix duties comes Hatewax, a multi-genre project from DJ/producer Sergei Omorokov, whose 2023 EP "Return To The Past" via Dutch label Planet Rhythm welcomed plaudits from across the techno sphere. Here, he showcases his industrial-leaning, hypnotic sound to its fullest, reworking the production via twisting soundscapes and warping textures to deliver more peak-time energy to close the package.
