Bajo Abajo by Lex Valverde & KEFFI
Junior Jack recruits Lex Valverde and KEFFI for Bajo Abajo, arriving via his celebrated Adesso Music imprint.
A mammoth collaboration primed for both mainstage moments and sun-soaked terraces, "Bajo Abajo" fuses heavy-hitting polyrhythms, fiery Latin vocals, and a bottom-heavy bassline to take things firmly into all-out hands-in-the-air territory.
For Mexican DJ/producer Lex Valverde, the release continues a new chapter in his career. Formerly known as Better Than Lex, the artist recently adopted his own name as his alias, sharpening his focus on a more personal, club-centric identity. Under his previous moniker, Lex released on labels from Flashmob to Vivifier and shared the bill with industry giants such as Charlotte de Witte, Meduza, and KI/KI.
Scotland-born, London-based artist KEFFI first broke onto the house circuit with a #1 on Beatport's Tech House chart via his debut on Toolroom Trax. Since then, his productions have won support from key tastemakers, including BBC Radio 1's Danny Howard, Carl Cox, and Dombresky, as well as rotation at global institutions such as UNVRS, Hï, and elrow.
