Glasgow Underground presents Daniel Trim
Ahead of his forthcoming, We Are One L.P, Spanish producer Daniel Trim offers up the H.O.U.S.E EP via Glasgow Underground this November.

Daniel Trim was born in Zaragoza, Spain although currently resides in Barcelona where he’s been living for the past fifteen years. Trim has racked up quite the catalogue over his extensive career; having released over one hundred singles and remixes in his time. Here we see Daniel return to the Glasgow Underground imprint with some fresh material in the lead up to the album project in the pipeline. Glasgow Underground has already unleashed three EP’s from Trim to critical acclaim, with the likes of Sasha and Butch endorsing ‘O Day’, and further support coming from tastemakers such as Skream, Jackmaster and Eats Everything, which stands as testament to the widespread appeal embodied in Trim’s material.
Opening up the release is title cut ‘H.O.U.S.E’, seeing Trim explore a raw, organic production style with natural percussive elements, jazz-tinged meandering bass licks and a gradually blooming dynamism help form the infectious seven-minute composition to kick things off in style.
Following is ‘Our Light’ which veers things into more electronic tipped territory, laying its focus on glitching analogue sparkles, low-slung rhythms and heavy doses of sub bass. While the cosseting pad line, wandering arpeggios and evolving synth licks add a further charming beauty to the record.
‘Rainbow Rising’ then rounds things off, seeing Daniel opt for a more loop driven Techno feel this time as he employs insistent drum programming and a heady acidic bass and synth line to create a cutting peak-time workout.
