Yazoo City by Robert Solheim

Robert Solheim is back with a huge single, inspired by his trips around America. This one especially by the train trip from New York via Chicago to New Orleans. Amazed by the fact that there is a city called Yazoo, which is also the name of one of his greatest inspirations from the early 80's, where the deep and techy track "Yazoo City" was born. The track is just over ten minutes of a musical journey, which catches the beat and mood from the beginning to end.

New Orleans with its great history of jazz and blues, has had it rough and the chilled-out track "Just Cancelled That" is inspired by both the music it produces and the history. Aquavit Records is also preparing an amazing remix pack for this, on a vinyl only release planned for later this year. Stay tuned and don't forget to check more releases on this quality label.
