Germany's Marc Lenz delivers a powerful two-track debut on Damian Lazarus' Rebellion imprint, with his latest release, "Breath," set to land in late February. With a career spanning over a decade, including releases on notable imprints such as Crosstown Rebels and Nick Curly's 8bit Records, as well as his own Degree Records imprint, Lenz continues to refine his sound, rooted in deep, organic house. Now, he brings his studio nous into 2026 with "Breath," expertly balancing powerful, rhythmic drive with immersive mystic intricacies.

Both tracks are made for the dance floor, but they are quite different. "Breath" is made for the peaktime. Whether at a festival or a club, I think the track gives you the energy to really go wild… "After Shock," for me, is the song for the big stage from the early hours to the perfect after-party… I love tracks that get their impact not only from the hook, but also from a powerful groove. Title track "Breath" is built for the big moments, driven by layered percussion, a woozy bassline, and tripped-out vocals that channel a raw energy through a hypnotic rhythm. On the flip, "After Shock" oozes warmth with its crisp hi-hats that cut through a thudding, rolling groove, while groaning pads and deft chiming melodies pull the listener deeper into dance.
