The Brooklyn-based artist Ky William returns to Factory 93 with the single, Fading, that draws from 90s and early 00s Electro and Indie-House influences.

Factory 93 continues its mission to spotlight cutting-edge talent with the release of "Fading," a sleek and emotionally charged single from Brooklyn’s rising force, Ky William. Dropping in July, "Fading" sees the prolific producer channel the nostalgic energy of late ’90s and early 00s Electro and Indie-House into a modern club weapon, marking a bold evolution in his sound.

"Fading" has been through a few iterations as I tried to express myself through more of a retro sound. I take a lot of inspiration from the kind of songs that take you back in time, and I wanted to challenge myself to be in that sound, but also putting a modern twist on it. The result is a club-ready thumper with echoes of late 90s and early 00s Indie-House & electro.

"Fading" arrives amid a breakout year for the producer, marked by standout sets at EDC Las Vegas, Day Trip LA, and Nocturnal Wonderland, as well as a stacked North American summer tour with stops in New York, Miami, San Francisco, Toronto, and more. With co-signs from BBC Radio 1, KCRW, and Sirius XM, plus key support from the likes of Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Hot Since 82, "Fading" not only marks Ky William’s return to Factory 93 but also his debut solo outing to the imprint, showcasing a clear progression into a new creative territory.
