Hustle Flow EP by Mene

Serbian DJ/producer Mene returns to Rebellion for his second appearance on the label with his latest EP, "Hustle Flow." Renowned for his adept ability to deliver slick house cuts with a darker edge, Mene has released music via esteemed labels such as Desolat, Revival New York, Moxy Muzik, and Hottrax, among others. Now his tripped-out three-tracker on Damian Lazarus' imprint, out in December, delivers the perfect journey as we dive deeper into the late-night, moody hours of club season.

The title track, "Hustle Flow," is a dark, brooding cut where idiosyncratic arpeggiated synths meet wild cosmic stabs and slick male vocals. Up next, "Our Town" sees Mene up the ante, with a driving low-end and playful percussive rhythms that meander through an eerie key. Closing the EP, "At Least" dials up the energy, brimming with grit and intensity; the cut oozes percussive flair, laid over breathy vocal textures.
