The Bucharest talent EdiP steps out on Sound D'Elite with bold two-tracker Lock Y Phone.

Romanian DJ/producer EdiP makes his label debut on Ilario Alicante's Sound D'Elite imprint with "Lock Y Phone." Landing in September, the two-track EP sees the rising artist continue his evolution from minimal grooves to a sharper, festival-ready sound. Having been ranked amongst Beatport's Top 10 Minimal Artists of 2024, the Bucharest-born talent has quickly positioned himself as an exciting addition within the new wave of emerging European talent, with releases on Take Notes, Deeperfect, and Moan gaining support from global heavyweights including Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and Joseph Capriati.

On "Lock Y Phone," tightly wound percussion, warped vocal chops, and rolling basslines come together for a track built with dancefloor tension in mind. "I Know U" takes a more groove-led direction, weaving bouncing drums into a hypnotic late-night workout. With both tracks highlighting different shades of his sound, ‘Lock Y Phone' signals an assured first step on Sound D'Elite for EdiP.
