Solace by Portable

The imprint Khoikhoi welcomes Portable to the fold and the release of Solace.

Portable's latest offering is a 2-track EP for his own Khoikhoi imprint. It features a Bodycode remix of the now classic track "Surrender"; the original was voted best new track by Pitchfork, and had a DJ Koze edit to boot. This new remix retains the essential elements that made it timeless, while still offering a stripped-down version that would fit perfectly in the tea dance hours of a Panorama bar set.

The accompanying track "First Things First " does exactly what it says on the tin and what Portable is known for, an infectious acid bassline, grabs you and doesn't let go, whilst the synths penetrate the deepest recesses of your soul. A Chicago house anthem heard in another dimension.
