Toronto's Greg Gow kicks off 2024 for Rekids Special Projects with his Soul Seek EP.

Greg Gow's ‘Soul Seek' EP on Rekids Special Projects launches with "35 Fathoms," a restrained house-meets-techno cut in which he imbues the machines with real funk and soul. As one of the biggest names in techno to come out of Canada, the Tronic, Planet-E, and SCI+TEC artist once again delivers a classy techno offering worthy of Radio Slave's celebrated Rekids offshoot.

"Soul Seek" sees Gow channel both Detroit and the early Toronto rave scene, with the title track boasting chunky drums and silky smooth dub chords that drone stylishly under its steady top-end. "Sleeping Prophet" then continues with slick grooves and dreamy synth work before the dancefloor anthem "Pocket Lighter" closes affairs with Greg Gow calling in an iconic vocal, rich melody, and chugging, shaking drums.
