Enemies by Volac
The intoxicating cut Enemies by Volac is set to drop this month on Repopulate Mars.

Fresh off their smash collaboration "Need Me" with US producer Liquid Rose, which won the hearts of Mau P, Meduza, and Eats Everything during his BBC Radio 1 show, globetrotting DJ & production duo Volac make a quick return to Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars for their fifth outing on the label, "Enemies."
This release is a reference to the 90s. We experimented with 90s hip-hop style, worked very subtly with low frequencies and achieved the right groove. The final details were inspired by music from the UK. In the end, we got a minimalistic track with the right accents that definitely has its own mood.
Volac
"Enemies" weaves slinking bass grooves, well-worked vocal samples, and addictive rhythms to round out a bubbly terrace production that stays true to the bass-driven sounds the duo has become widely known for.
