The People Passing By EP by HANK

Earlier this year, HANK (Hank Korsan) introduced Kopa Records with his "Back In The Saddle EP," a statement of intent that set the tone for a new label rooted in deep grooves and timeless textures. Now, with his "The People Passing By EP," he returns to build on that foundation, drawing on the same magnetic energy that has carried him from LA to London, via New York and back again.

A regular within LA and NYC nightlife since 2019, HANK has steadily carved his place in the global house circuit as a producer with releases on labels including 8Bit, COCO, Catch & Release, and Black Book Records. His sound is defined by its swing and warmth, music that feels both familiar and future-facing, designed to connect people on the floor. That spirit runs through "The People Passing By," where rolling percussion and subtle atmospherics meet a bassline that refuses to let go, before "Anakin's Curse" takes a tumble into hazy and hypnotic territories, built around stripped-back grooves and swirling accents.

Joining him on the release is West Coast legend Hipp-E. As one half of the pioneering duo H-Foundation, Hipp-E helped define a movement, and here he delivers a remix of "Anakin's Curse" that channels signature grooves, dubby atmospheres, and deep textures. With its second release, Kopa continues to shape an identity led by HANK's vision: a platform for deep, groove-led house music that speaks to the dancefloor, wherever it may be.
