A year on from his Rebellion debut, the Italian DJ/producer Drown is back with more impactful melodies with the track, Yes Lord.

Italian DJ and producer Drown, aka Alessio Pagliaroli, is known for curating standout parties at Ribbon Club near Rome, where he's hosted the likes of Carl Craig, Dr. Rubinstein, Ellen Allien, and more. His sound, built on deep bass and immersive melodies, has led to releases such as "Yeti" on Ribbon Recordings alongside Mari Kvien Brunvoll, remixed by House legend Radio Slave, as well as his Afterlife Records debut with "Eagle In The Sky." Now, returning to Damian Lazarus' Rebellion one year after his debut with "Don't Follow Me," he unveils "Yes Lord" featuring Benjamin Franklin - a record packed with brooding energy and tight grooves.

Drown's "Yes Lord" unveils tension-laced progressions and swirling atmospherics, blurring the line between reality and rhythm, with Franklin's entrancing vocals pulling the listener in. Paris-based composer, producer, and live performer Portable, aka Bodycode, then delivers his take on "Yes Lord," extending the tension through long, winding builds and a twisted synth line, enriched with heavy bleeps and rich, immersive sonics.
