Bástian V and Nicolas Nohra join forces for a stunning new Afro house single on connected featuring vocals from Nigerian vocalist Oluwadamvic.
Colombian DJ and producer Bástian V is a vital voice in the Afro house world. He has had huge support for his standout tracks like "Mamita" and "Deja 2.0," which have been played by tastemakers like Blond:ish, Bedouin, and Keinemusik. Nicolas Nohra also hails from Colombia but grew up in Lebanon, so he brings a range of Middle Eastern influences to his sounds, which he plays at clubs around the world from Paris to Tulum. Oluwadamvic, a key vocalist in the Afro house world, is completing the trio for this new single. He hails from Lagos and has worked with plenty of the scene's most prominent producers.
Together, they create "Agbara," which fizzes with sugary synth lines over funky broken beats. The percussion is organic, and the drums are big and warm, while Oluwadamvic layers in his smoky, sensuous, and soulful tones. The result is a life-affirming sound that will be huge this summer.
