Mr Silk draws from many places as he blends African musical references with his love of the South African house sound. He founded the influential Drums Radio station in the capital and hosted his "Afrohouse and Chill" radio show. He has become known for his dynamic performances at Ministry of Sound, E1, and The Amsterdam Dance Event, with plenty of support for his tunes coming from BBC Radio 1.

The superbly steamy "Aguila" Feat. Martina Camargo is a profoundly spiritual track that awakens your senses with its loose-limbed grooves and layers of percussion. The warm, bubbly drums are topped with distant chants that eventually come to the fore. Afro drum patterns and dramatic synth sweeps all add to this most emotionally intense house sound as it locks you into its spell.
