Following 2021's "Disco Trip Vol.6 EP," a split EP with Ben Sims' Ron Bacardi alias, DJ Bruce Lee's solo debut for Hardgroove arrives with purpose. Comprising five tracks that traverse the quality Techno remit, the "Aura EP" sees one of Barcelona's most significant underground figures jump from imposing, moody grooves on "The Line" and "Rise" to warehouse sonics on the title track.
"Memories" and "Drums" close the EP out, with the former tipping a nod to DJ Bruce Lee's love of Chicago's jacking, discoid grooves while the latter delves deep into warm, drummy, late-night sounds.
