Elecktric Babe EP by G-Traxx
Mysterious new artist G-Traxx inaugurates a new self-titled label with four sophisticated minimal house sounds.

G-Traxx is a new imprint founded by an international collective based in LA. The unknown artist kicks it off with a compelling new EP designed for cozy backrooms and discerning dancers.
The opener, "Elecktric Babe," is a supple minimal house cut with bubbly drums and synths, all making for a liquid and infectious groove. Ghoulish vocals marble the mix and make this a seductive late-night sound for heady and intimate dance floors. "MoZe" then brings more rubbery kick drum patterns under deft hi-hats and twanging synth riffs. It's a funky sound with plenty of low-slung bass.
The brilliant "High Volume" explores more loose-limbed and silky minimal sounds with dubby undercurrents and taught synth lines tumbling about the mix next to atmospheric vocals and mystic melodies. "My Turn" brings things to a close with more expertly designed loops. Synth lines shimmer, alluring vocal hooks drift about up top, and the soft, paddy drums keep things moving at an irresistibly hypnotic pace.
