Dreamstate EP with Job de Jong

LOCUS welcomes Job de Jong as the Dutchman unveils his new EP, Dreamstate, on the label.

Based in Leiden, Dutch talent Job de Jong is building on early tips and crafting a growing discography that includes labels including PIV, Talman Records, Hardline, and Enzo Siragusa's LOCUS. Making appearances at leading venues at home, such as Thuishaven and BRET, through to Cova Santa in Ibiza and beyond, he now makes his return to the FUSE sister imprint with his first EP on the label following his contribution to the fourth LOCUSTRAX VA, serving up a quartet of cuts across "Dreamstate EP."

The zippy and acid-dipped "Ecstasy" opens the EP with a vibrant and driving groove accented by hazy, hypnotic melodies. At the same time, "Electric" is loaded with energy as skippy percussion and warped vocals take hold of proceedings. Next, "Divinity" brings a slick groove to the fore while drawing for more menacing acid lines before closing the show in style with the breaks-led, heavy-hitting drums and sweeping tones of "It's a Dream."
