Fatal Attraction EP by M.I.T.A.
Ilario Alicante invites M.I.T.A. to his Virgo imprint as the Italian DJ/producer delivers his Fatal Attraction EP for his label debut.
Italy's Mattia Borriello, aka M.I.T.A., has been producing records and playing shows across Europe for over a decade. Releasing music on labels such as Suara, UNCAGE, and Tronic, his style of driving, high-energy and punchy techno, has seen support from key industry heavyweights worldwide. Building on a solid start to 2023, following up on his "Crazy Tribe EP" on Paco Osuna's Mindshake, early summer brings a debut appearance on Ilario Alicante's excellent Virgo imprint as he readies the release of four powerful productions made for the dancefloor on his "Fatal Attraction EP."
Launching into the action with a tunneling groove accented by playful vocal chops and a fiesta-inspired drum workout, the lead track "King Size Diva" is built to provide energy and vigor to any situation. At the same time, "Too L8" brings a slice of funk as rolling drums and further vocal interjections work alongside heavy low-ends for more peak-time material. Next, "I Need A Fix" brings warping synths and tripped-out voices for a darker and more eerie effort before closing with the euphoric and high-impact sonics of the title production "Fatal Attraction."
